Irish dance and music performances on Main Street, special Celtic vendors

Street Festival |
Annual
festival showcasing 250 craftsmen, food, entertainment and children's
activities this event is listed as one of the Southeast's top 20 events
by the Southeast Tourism Society. Handmade work to be exhibited includes
original oil and watercolor paintings, pottery, jewelry, furniture, woodworking,
ornamental iron, Appalachian-style baskets, stained glass, photography,
home and garden accents, birdhouses, leatherwork, and much more. |

| JUNE Town
& Country Tour of Homes |
The
Annual Tour of Homes is scheduled for June 3rd from 10am to 5pm and June
4th from 1pm to 5pm. This tour provides a unique opportunity to step inside
some of Franklin and Williamson County’s historic homes. It has
been the good fortune of the Heritage Foundation to have a seemingly endless
supply of willing homeowners with interesting and beautiful historic homes
to feature over the thirty years this tour has been a part of springtime
in Franklin. This year’s tour is no exception. Homes featured on
the tour include Laurel Hill, the Harrison House, Turley-Faw House, the
Sullivan Farm House, the Marshall House, Armistead Billington House, Homestead
Manor, Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Buchanan-Jones House. These
historic houses date from 1830 to 1940. |

Outdoor
concert series with Scat Springs playing your motown favorites. Concert-goers
also enjoy a stroll through the 1847 garden, a walkthrough of the historic
house and some of the most spectacular sunsets in Williamson County. Beer,
wine, soft drinks and Jack Daniels Mint Juleps are available for purchase.

as they unite at the annual Natchez Trace Pow Wow Festival. Join us in
the historic village of Leiper's Fork along the Natchez Trace Parkway,
an area rich in Native American culture. Join the festivities with time-honored
dances, storytelling, arts & crafts, live music and much more. Learn
through our legend-keepers and demonstrators how Native Americans once
lived and the foods unique to their culture. |
